✝️ Liturgical season: 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time
On this 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we gather around Christ and entrust to Him the life of our parish, our families, children and young people preparing for the sacraments, and all our parish communities. This week we also give special thanks for the ministry of Fr Sebastian, who is leaving our parish in Peterborough to continue his ministry in the parish in Norwich.
💒 Collections
For the maintenance and hire of the church, £773.40 was collected in Peterborough and £48.65 in Wisbech. Next Sunday, 20 September, there will be a second collection to support English language tuition for priests undertaking studies – the Cardinal Józef Glemp Foundation.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and an opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation from 6:00 pm.
1. Parish Office
 

The Parish Office will be open on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Exceptionally, due to sacramental registration for children and young people, the office will also be open on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

2. Registration for First Holy Communion and Confirmation
 

Until 26 September, children preparing for First Holy Communion and young people preparing for Confirmation can be registered at the Parish Office.

Registration is available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

📄 Important for registration
Please remember to bring a copy of the baptism certificate if the child was baptised outside the parish.
3. Meeting with Parish Community Leaders
 

Leaders of parish groups are asked to arrange a meeting with the parish priest at a convenient time in order to discuss the calendar for the entire pastoral year.

4. Family Gathering in Our Parish
 

All families are warmly invited to a parish barbecue beginning at 2:00 pm.

We will spend time together enjoying the barbecue, coffee and cake, while children will also be able to enjoy face painting.

🎶 AMEN ADORAMUS Concert
At 4:30 pm, there will be a concert in the church by AMEN ADORAMUS – Emigranci Najwyższemu.

The gathering will conclude with Sunday Mass and the Jasna Góra Appeal. Everyone is very warmly invited.

We wish Fr Sebastian, who is saying farewell to our parish in Peterborough and moving to the parish in Norwich, as well as everyone celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and name days this week, an abundance of God’s grace and the protection of Our Lady.
