Parish Announcements – 4th Sunday of Lent (15.03.2026)
We celebrate the 4th Sunday of Lent. May this season be a time of prayer, reflection and conversion as we prepare our hearts for Easter.
Below you will find the Mass schedule, information about Lenten devotions and important parish events.
1️⃣ Sunday Masses ⛪
Peterborough:
Masses at 7:30, 10:45, 12:30, 19:15.
Lenten Lamentations (Gorzkie Żale): 19:00.
Wisbech:
Mass on 15 and 29 March at 15:30.
Easter confession in Wisbech will take place on Palm Sunday at 15:30.
2️⃣ Weekday Masses 🗓️
Tuesday – Friday: Mass at 19:15.
3️⃣ Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament 🙏
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place Tuesday to Friday at 18:30.
⛪ SOLEMNITY OF ST JOSEPH
Thursday – 19 March 2026
Holy Mass with the participation of the Men of St Joseph at 19:15.
4️⃣ Admission to the Altar Servers ✝️
On Sunday 15.03 during the Mass at 10:45, new altar servers will be officially admitted to the Altar Servers Ministry.
After the Mass, the altar servers together with their parents invite everyone for:
🍲 traditional Polish soup (żurek)
🍰 homemade cakes
☕ coffee and tea
For children there will also be a creative Easter corner with:
🎨 plaster eggs and bunnies for painting
📚 colouring books and puzzles
5️⃣ Parish Office 🏢
The parish office is open on Thursday from 16:00 to 18:00
and during the week after the evening Mass at 19:15.

6️⃣ Stations of the Cross ✝️
The Stations of the Cross will take place on Fridays after the Mass at 19:45, led by the altar servers.
7️⃣ Easter Decorations 🕯️
After the Masses on Sunday 15.03, altar servers will sell Easter candles and decorations.
The proceeds will support the altar servers’ trip.
8️⃣ Lenten Charity 💝
The Maltese cadets and volunteers are collecting this year's Lenten charity for a sensory garden for seniors at Laxton Hall.
Collection will take place in our church on 21 and 22 March after the Masses at the church entrance.
A QR code for online donations is also available on the poster.
9️⃣ Easter Palms and Lamb Cakes 🌿
On 22 and 29 March the cadets and volunteers will distribute handmade:
🌿 Easter palms
🐑 Easter lamb cakes
🥧 mini Easter mazurek cakes
