Pastoral Announcements – Second Sunday after Christmas (04 January 2026)

We are celebrating the Second Sunday after Christmas. This week we also observe the Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord. May this time strengthen our faith and openness to God’s presence and action in our daily lives.

In today’s announcements you will find the Mass schedule, information about Kolęda 2026 (House Blessing), the Faith Renewal Seminar, upcoming parish events, and an important notice regarding parking.

1️⃣ Sunday Masses ⛪

Sunday – 04 January 2026 (Peterborough):
Holy Masses at 7:30 am, 10:45 am, 12:30 pm, 7:15 pm.
Wisbech: Holy Mass on 04 and 18 January at 3:30 pm.

2️⃣ Weekday Masses 🗓️

Peterborough:
Tuesday – Epiphany of the Lord (06 January): at 10:00 am and 7:15 pm
Wednesday and Thursday: at 10:00 am
Friday: at 7:15 pm

3️⃣ Eucharistic Adoration 🙏

Eucharistic Adoration takes place on Tuesday and Friday at 6:30 pm.

4️⃣ Parish Café ☕

The parish café is open after the 10:45 am Mass. Everyone is warmly welcome.

5️⃣ Parish Office 🏢

The Parish Office will be closed in January on Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
For parish matters, please come during the week after the evening Masses at 7:15 pm.

6️⃣ Kolęda 2026 – House Blessing 🏠

Thank you for inviting us into your homes and for your hospitality.
Each family will be contacted by phone or SMS – we kindly ask for your patience.
House blessings will continue until the end of January.
Invitation forms are available at the church exit. Please complete them clearly and place them in the box marked “KOLĘDA 2026”.

7️⃣ Faith Renewal Seminar 📿

On 10 January 2026, the Faith Renewal Seminar will begin – a special opportunity to deepen your relationship with God, experience His action, and renew your heart.
Further details are available on parish posters.

8️⃣ Parish Events 🎶

Christmas Carols Concert: Sunday 11 January during the 10:45 am Mass, performed by children from the parish schola. Maltese Opłatek with Seniors: 16 January 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the parish hall. A time of fellowship, conversation, carol singing, and a festive meal. Admission is free.

9️⃣ Intentions through the Intercession of St Padre Pio ✝️

Please write your intentions through the intercession of St Padre Pio and place them in the box at the church exit.
These intentions will be prayed for during the pilgrimage to St Padre Pio from 19 to 24 January 2026.

🔟 Table Tennis Tournament for Youth 🏓

A table tennis tournament for young people aged 12 and over will take place on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at 3:30 pm in the parish hall.
